Sounds Of The Universe

see relatedOf legendary love stories
People believe they deserve a lot of things.
A legendary love story.
A storybook castle.
A frog that turns into a prince….That’s pretty much where all problems tend to start.
Legendary love stories are almost always tragic.
Storybook castles get foreclosed.
And well frogs, I'll leave that to your imagination. We wait for something so much greater, and don't realize that life's slipped by, moment by moment.
Maybe all we need is to enjoy life as it is. Enjoy the moment.©2009 r singh

STRANGER! if you, passing, meet me, and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me?
And why should I not speak to you?
- Walt Whitman, Leaves of Grass
Funny how we hesitate to talk to strangers now. and somehow prefer to hide behind a book, phone, or Ipod.Remember the time when you were a small kid, you saw another kid, and just asked him if he/she wanted to play? And then somewhere along the way, you were expected to be more discerning and selective about talking to strangers. So much for growing up.

Third Eye Blind A Collection (The Best of)

see relatedTo a past long gone
To a past long gone
I believe that we were amazing. That the moments we spent cannot be replaced or tainted by the eons of time. And those memories, I will never forget.
I believe that we were beautiful. That the day destiny made us come together would stay an indelible cherished memory. And that would never go away.
I believed that beautiful things lasted forever. That we would be there yesterday, today, and tomorrow. And I wish I had known beauty is fleeting.
I believed that we could hang in there in perpetuity. That if something continues long enough, you cannot change it. And I wish I knew change had to happen.
I believe that now its a past long gone. That destiny had led me to you and that destiny had led me away. And that path, will never again be tread.©2008 r singh

Atif aslam-meri kahani

see relatedsometimes i have this dream,
a dream that leaves me with wonder.
wonder if i can reach out towards its innocence,
to touch it and to feel it,
and hold it like a butterfly in my hand.
sometimes i have this dream,
a dream that leaves me feeling free.
free to play in the limitless sky,
to jump from one cloud to another,
and each cloud with it's own special joy.
sometimes i have this dream,
a dream that leaves me with peace.
peace as if the world stops and leaves me with a moment,
to gift me everything i need in that moment,
and that one pure moment lasts forever.
sometimes i have this dream,
a dream that leaves me with hope.
hope that someday i'll chase down my rainbow,
to find at its end, you,
and with you spend that one pure moment.

They will not be able to fly, even though they now have four wings."
--Jalaludin Rumi
